A new report is shedding light on an “unusual financial agreement” between Raphael Warnock and his former employer allowing him to “avoid income taxes on $89,000 in outside salary last year,” which experts say “appears to violate federal law.”
This comes on the heels of recent reporting showing that Raphael Warnock doubled his income while in the Senate, even as he campaigned against Senators using the institution to enrich themselves in 2020. Warnock enjoyed a cushy six-figure book deal as he has traveled the country to promote it, skipping Senate votes in the process.
“Raphael Warnock is in it for himself and not for Georgia. As he voted to hike taxes on his constituents he wasn’t even paying his own – the ultimate hypocrisy that voters will punish him for this November.” -SLF Communications Director Jack Pandol
