Mike Duncan helped found and chairs the board of Senate Leadership Fund. He is the president and chief executive officer of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity. Duncan served as the 60th chairman of the Republican National Committee, helping to raise and direct more than $400 million in political spending during his tenure. He was chairman of the board of the Tennessee Valley Authority and has served in numerous leadership roles in educational, charitable and public service organizations.
Jo Ann Davidson
Jo Ann Davidson is past chair of the board of Senate Leadership Fund and is the president of JAD & Associates, a consulting firm that provides strategic planning, policy and public affairs advice. Davidson served as co-chair of the Republican National Committee and chaired the 2008 Republican National Convention. She made history as the first woman elected Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. Davidson is also an expert on grassroots mobilization and voter turnout strategies.
Steven Law is the president and chief executive officer of Senate Leadership Fund. Law was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as deputy secretary of labor. In that role, Law promoted union financial integrity reforms and chaired the Bush Administration’s e-government initiative. Law was chief legal officer and general counsel of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and has been the executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and chief of staff to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Law was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia University Law School and has served on the board of the C.S. Lewis Institute.
Carl Forti is the political director of Senate Leadership Fund and a founding partner of the BlackRock Group, a political and public affairs consulting firm. Forti is one of the nation’s foremost experts in independent political action. Prior to joining American Crossroads, he was executive vice president of Freedom’s Watch and was the director of the National Republican Congressional Committee’s independent expenditure program for the 2002, 2004 and 2006 election cycles. In the 2012 presidential election, Forti helped found and led Restore Our Future, the Super PAC dedicated to supporting Mitt Romney. Forti was also deputy campaign manager and political director for Romney for President in 2008.
Jennifer Fay is the chief operating officer at Senate Leadership Fund. In this role, she ensures efficient management of the budget and balances cash-flow constraints by evaluating detailed cost-benefit analyses. Fay also manages the Crossroads staff and HR practices, leading the team by promoting each staffer’s individual development. Prior to her tenure at Crossroads, she helped launch a small business government affairs firm, J.A. Green & Company on Capitol Hill, and was a scheduler and office manager on both the Senate and House sides.
Digital Director Billy McBeath has extensive experience in independent digital advocacy, serving previously as Client Strategy Director for Senate Leadership Fund and other Super PACs at Targeted Victory. Before joining Targeted Victory in 2012, McBeath served in the administration of Florida Governor Rick Scott.
Research Director Mark McLaughlin joins the Senate Leadership Fund after serving as Research Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the past two cycles. McLaughlin was an integral part of the political team that helped Republicans win the Senate in 2014 and hold the Majority in 2016.
