Middle Class Ohio Families: 1,000 – Sherrod Brown: 0

December 20, 2017

It looks like the tax reform plan that was stridently opposed by Sherrod Brown is already paying dividends in Ohio. According to CNBC, Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank will raise its minimum wage for all employees to $15 an hour as a result of the Republican tax reform plan. More than 13,500 employees will also receive a $1,000 bonus.

“Kudos to Fifth Third Bank for doing what Sherrod Brown has failed to do during his entire dismal career in the U.S. Senate – providing relief to the middle class.” -Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman Chris Pack
