New SLF Ad Features Retired Las Vegas Police Officer Talking About Cortez Masto’s Negligence on Rape Kits

September 27, 2016

New Ad is Third Television Spot in $6 Million Fall Campaign

WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Senate Leadership Fund launched its third ad as part of its $6 million fall TV campaign in the Nevada Senate race.

The ad, entitled “Frustrated,” is the third spot from SLF highlighting how Catherine Cortez Masto negligently allowed thousands of rape kits to go unprocessed for DNA analysis. This ad features retired Las Vegas Police Detective Sgt. Tom Wagner, who believes that it is shameful that Cortez Masto would pass the buck and blame the rape kit backlog on local police departments.

“Frustrated” will begin airing today on Las Vegas and Reno broadcast and cable TV.

WATCH: “FRUSTRATED”

“Here’s what Nevada voters need to know about Catherine Cortez Masto – she did nothing about the massive backlog of unprocessed rape kits. Then, when her negligence was exposed, she passed the buck and shamefully blamed local police.” – Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman Ian Prior
