New SLF Ad in North Carolina Takes Aim at Deborah Ross’ American Flag Problem

October 10, 2016

Ross Defended Right to Burn Flag; Wouldn’t Defend Right to Fly Flag

WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Senate Leadership Fund launched its third ad as part of a $9 million fall television campaign in North Carolina.

The ad, entitled “Defend,” shows how Deborah Ross refused to stand up for a disabled Vietnam veteran who wanted to fly an American flag, despite a history of defending the rights of those who wanted to burn the flag.

“Defend” will begin airing today on statewide broadcast and cable.

“Here’s all you need to know about left wing Deborah Ross: if you’re a sex offender or want to burn the American flag, she’ll go to bat for you. If you’re a disabled Vietnam veteran who wants to fly a flag, she couldn’t care less about your rights.” – Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman Ian Prior
