New SLF Ad Takes Aim at Catherine Cortez Masto’s AG Record on Sex Traffickers

October 11, 2016

New Ad is Fifth Television Spot in $8.3 Million Fall Campaign

WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Senate Leadership Fund launched its fifth ad as part of its $8.3 million fall TV campaign in the Nevada Senate race.

The ad, entitled “Plea,” continues the theme of highlighting Catherine Cortez Masto’s disastrous record as Attorney General. Specifically, the ad focuses on how the first person Cortez Masto’s office indicted for sex trafficking got a plea deal for a lesser charge and is now back on the street.

“Plea” will begin airing today on Las Vegas and Reno broadcast and cable TV.

WATCH: “PLEA”

“From unprocessed rape kits to a plea deal for an alleged sex trafficker who is now on the streets, Catherine Cortez Masto repeatedly failed Nevada as Attorney General. Harry Reid may want to promote her to the Senate, but with a record like hers she has no business representing Nevadans in Washington.” – Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman Ian Prior
