Wow, Patrick Murphy has no shame. Last Friday, the Hill and Sunshine State News reported that Murphy was chauffeured to a high dollar fundraiser when he was supposedly on Day 2 of the five-day minimum wage challenge.
Well, multimillionaire Murphy apparently didn’t learn his lesson. This Sunday, when he was supposed to be on Day 5 of the minimum wage challenge, Murphy was chauffeured to another fundraiser in Palm Beach Gardens.
But here is what is really pathetic. Take a look at the video linked below. The first part is him at the fundraiser at 11:00 a.m. Note the shirt, tie and pen. The second part of the video is his 3:39 p.m. Twitter post summarizing his “minimum wage challenge.” Clearly he filmed that video RIGHT AFTER THE SECOND FUNDRAISER. Same shirt. Same tie. Same pen.
And if you really want to be entertained, just take a look at the responses to the Murphy’s Tweets chronicling Day 2 and Day 3.
“To recap, this is how Patrick Murphy ‘got by’ while taking the minimum wage challenge – he paid $14 for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that he prepared on his granite counter, he bought name brand groceries at CVS, took the Metro, and was chauffeured to fundraisers where he collects tens of thousands of dollars. Sounds tough.” – Senate Leadership Spokesman, Ian Prior
