A report released by the Journal Sentinel’s Dan Bice dove into the recent actions of former Senator Russ Feingold as well as his political action committee, Progressive United PAC. Bice explained that Feingold has gone against his former anti-campaign finance stance, and has raised $7.1 million between January of 2011 and March of 2015. Of which, 90% went to fundraising or staff salaries including $317,823 to Feingold’s former chief of staff, Mary Irvine. All told, Feingold, Irvine, and eight former staffers drew salaries or consulting fees from the fund. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
