Senate Leadership Fund Launches $1.5 Million TV Ad Campaign Against Phony Patrick Murphy

July 15, 2016

Ad Highlights Murphy’s Disturbing Habit of Making Things Up

WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Senate Leadership Fund began a $1.5 million television and digital ad campaign in the Tampa and Orlando markets highlighting Phony Patrick Murphy’s willingness to repeatedly lie about his past to win elections.

The ad, entitled “That’s Who,” focuses on Murphy’s lies about his supposed career as a CPA and small businessman.

The tv ad will run for one week on broadcast and cable and can be viewed by clicking the image below. The ad also directs viewers to a new website: www.truthaboutmurphy.com

“The Patrick Murphy playbook is to just make things up, use his dad’s money to throw it on TV, and then rinse and repeat to get promoted to the Senate,” said Steven Law, president and CEO of Senate Leadership Fund and former Chief of Staff to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “Unfortunately for Murphy, the truth has caught up with him, and you can call the rest of this campaign ‘Murphy Unmasked.’”
