New Ad is Fourth Television Spot in $8.3 Million Fall Campaign
WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Senate Leadership Fund launched its fourth ad as part of its $8.3 million fall TV campaign in the Nevada Senate race.
The ad, entitled “Others Get It,” continues to highlight Catherine Cortez Masto’s stunning negligence in failing to deal with thousands of unprocessed rape kits. (Note: The problem of unprocessed rape kits and what law enforcement is doing to address it was highlighted last week with Vice President Biden’s guest appearance on Law and Order SVU).
The ad shows how other attorneys general dealt with the issue and have put hundreds of rapists behind bars. It also reminds Nevadans that Cortez Masto didn’t even know about the problem when asked in October of 2014.
“Others Get It” will begin airing today on Las Vegas and Reno broadcast and cable TV.
WATCH: “OTHERS GET IT”
“While attorneys general across the country are putting rapists behind bars by clearing the backlog of unprocessed rape kits, Catherine Cortez Masto was completely ignorant of the problem. That’s gross negligence by Cortez Masto and disqualifies her from a promotion to the Senate.” – Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman Ian Prior
