The Senate Leadership Fund announced it raised $30.2 million in the month of June, first reported exclusively in Politico Playbook. SLF ended the month of June with $97.3 million cash on hand.
Both figures are organizational bests for the Senate Leadership Fund. SLF’s previous-best June of the on-year occurred in 2018, when the organization raised $7.6 million and ended June 2018 with $19.4 million cash on hand.
SLF previously announced its largest-ever initial fall advertising reservation: $67.1 million of reservations in Colorado, Maine, Arizona, North Carolina, Iowa, and Kentucky. SLF has since layered on additional buys in Montana and Georgia, bringing SLF’s total fall reservation to well over $90 million.
“SLF has already placed the largest fall reservation in our organization’s history as we fight to defend our majority, and this month’s fundraising haul is an important down payment on that activity.” -SLF President Steven Law
