Last night at a Democratic town hall, Hillary Clinton sent a strong message to Eastern Ohio, saying: “we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
Hillary clearly chose her liberal agenda over all the jobs that come from the Eastern Ohio coalfields. And let’s not forget that 58% of Ohio’s electricity comes from coal; clearly Hillary also has no problem with higher electricity prices for Ohio.
So will Ted Strickland choose Hillary Clinton and her anti-coal agenda over Ohio families? Or will Strickland do the right thing and denounce Hillary’s position and decline to endorse her for President?
We’ll be waiting, and so will Eastern Ohio.
“It’s time for Ted Strickland to prove to Ohio families that he cares more about jobs and the cost of living than he does staying on Hillary Clinton’s good side. If Strickland doesn’t renounce Hillary’s anti-coal statement and pledge not to endorse her, then we will be sure to remind Eastern Ohio of his treachery – over and over again.” – Senate Leadership Fund Spokesman, Ian Prior
