Raphael Warnock has been in the Senate barely a month, and he’s already breaking his most high-profile campaign promise to quickly deliver COVID relief to Georgians.
The Senate is in recess this week instead of staying to work on a COVID relief package. As a candidate, Raphael Warnock repeatedly attacked his opponent for “going on vacation” instead of staying to work on relief. Warnock specifically told Georgia news outlets “Georgia families can’t wait: $2,000 checks should be passed now.”
Now it’s Warnock’s turn to answer: why aren’t you staying in Washington to work on the relief package you promised to pass? See here, here, here, and here.
Time for Warnock to answer why he thinks he can go on vacation while “rent is due” and “hunger and distress are very much at work.”
