Yesterday President Biden cast doubt on the legitimacy of the 2022 election if Democrats could not ram through their partisan election takeover, saying:
“I’m not going to say it’s going to be legit.”
This morning in a stunning interview, Vice President Kamala Harris repeatedly refused to say that the White House believes the 2022 election will be legitimate. And Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn echoed their sentiments on CNN, saying he is “concerned” the election result will not be legitimate.
It’s clear that casting doubt on the legitimacy of the upcoming election is quickly becoming the de facto position of the Democratic Party.
But do Democratic Senate candidates whose names will actually be on the ballot agree?
“It’s simple: either you think the upcoming midterms will be legitimate or you don’t. Democrats who say they want to protect our democracy have a chance to do just that by denouncing President Biden’s dangerous comments – otherwise they’re just part of the problem.” -SLF Communications Director Jack Pandol
