The AP reports that failed 2018 Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams endorsed seven Democratic Senate challengers across the country: John Hickenlooper, Mark Kelly, Sara Gideon, Cal Cunningham, Barbara Bollier, Jaime Harrison, and Mike Espy.
Abrams rose to prominence by losing the election for Georgia’s governorship in 2018 by over 50,000 votes, then refusing to concede. National Democrats from around the country – even Joe Biden – have endorsed her conspiracy theory that she was denied the governorship due to voter suppression, even though the facts do not support her claim.
This begs the question: when these Democratic candidates lose in November, will they accept the election results? Or will they refuse to concede, just like Abrams?
